2001-2002 Annual Report

Cedarville University ne of the joys of any new year is the opportunity to review the highlights of the previous year. That joy is multiplied in this instance since this is the final Cedarville University Annual Report of my presidency. The problem is, where do we begin recounting the blessings of this past year, let alone the manifold blessings of the past 25 years? We can’t begin to do justice to how God has moved, how lives have been changed, and how the Kingdom has been affected by the events and accomplishments of the past year. The psalmist tells us so. But, we can scratch the surface. By doing so, I trust your hearts and minds will be filled with gratitude and thanksgiving. Mine certainly are … not only to those, like you, who have invested their time and treasure in the lives of our students, but also, and more importantly, to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Who made all things and Who holds all things together. It is certainly only because of His great grace that any of us are a part of the Kingdom. Likewise, it is only because of His great grace that any of us play a role here at Cedarville University. Your role is as ordained of God as mine. I encourage you to review this Annual Report in that light. God has used you in a magnificent way to make this institution possible. The deeds recounted here are a testimony to your willingness to partner with us as we endeavor to “provide an education consistent with biblical truth.” Paul Dixon President Dr. Paul H. Dixon President, Cedarville University O “Many, O LORD my God, are the wonders You have done. The things You planned for us no one can recount to You; were I to speak and tell of them, they would be too many to declare.” Psalm 40:5
