Jeremiah had served as Co llege chancellor since 1978. He served as president oftheCollege from 1953 to 1978. He provided the vision and energy to transform a struggling college into an institution of higher learning that attracts son1 e of the brightest and most committed Christian young peop le in America. Our thousands of alumni salute him for the impact he has had on their lives. James T. Jeremiah was my loya l and faithful supporter. I loved him like a father. One of my dearest friends has gone home to be with our Lord.
