Pathway to Advanced Master of Divinity for Psychology Majors Psychology majors who plan to enroll in the Advanced Master of Divinity degree program after completing the Bachelor of Arts degree should pursue the following curriculum plan. Grad Course)................................................... 3 *Pathway course for meeting the undergraduate prerequisite requirements in “Bible coursework” for the Advanced M.Div. program. † BTBL-2510, 2520 Elementary Greek 1 and 2 are prerequisites for entrance into BTBL-3510 Intermediate Greek, but do not count toward the undergraduate course prerequisite requirements for the Advanced M.Div.. Successful completion of BTBL- 3510 Intermediate Greek will satisfy the New Testament Greek language course prerequisite (3hrs) required for the Advanced M.Div. program. 1 Any upper level OT course can count toward the prerequisite requirement; course(s) listed is the recommended pathway. 2 Any upper level NT course can count toward the prerequisite requirement; course(s) listed is the recommended pathway. Note: The pathway courses indicated above would give the student 30 hours of undergraduate work recognized by the Advanced M.Div. program, plus 6 hours of additional graduate credit (potentially resulting in 55 hours of graduate course work remaining). The 61 hr Advanced M.Div. is based upon being able to recognize the total amount of the undergraduate prerequisites for the program (30 hrs). Students who are not accepted into the graduate program or who decide not to continue to completion of the Advanced Master of Divinity program should switch to the regular Psychology major to complete the undergraduate degree.
