Pathway to Advanced Master of Divinity for Broadcasting, Digital Media, and Journalism Majors Broadcasting, Digital Media, and Journalism majors who plan to enroll in the Advanced Master of Divinity degree program after completing the Bachelor of Arts degree should pursue the following curriculum plan. This optional pathway includes essential prerequisites and prepares the student for the graduate Advanced M.Div. program. Note: The pathway courses indicated above would give the student 27 hours of undergraduate work recognized by the Advanced M.Div. program, plus 6 hours of additional graduate credit toward the M.Div. core curriculum. The 61 hr Advanced M.Div. is based having recognized the total amount of the undergraduate prerequisites for the program (30 hrs). To have the total prerequisite 30 hrs recognized, students would need to take BTBL-3510 Intermediate Greek (Prerequisites: BTBL-2510, 2520 Elementary Greek 1 and 2). Students who are not accepted into the graduate program or who decide not to continue to completion of the Advanced Master of Divinity program should switch to the regular Broadcasting, Digital Media, and Journalism major to complete the undergraduate degree.
