Studio Art — Bachelor of Arts The Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in studio art is designed for students with a strong interest in a variety of traditional studio disciplines such as drawing, painting, printmaking, and sculpting. Studio art currently offers concentrations in drawing, painting, sculpture, and printmaking. Completion of graduate study and professional licensure is typically required to qualify for careers in art and art-related fields, such as art education, museum studies, art preparation, art therapy, and illustration. Course requirements involve 62 semester hours, comprised of 54 studio art semester hours and eight art electives.
