Pharmacists are increasingly performing leadership and innovative roles within the healthcare system. The following programs are designed to equip those future leaders. Master of Business Administration Curriculum Summary Master of Business Administration...............................................36 Total............................................................................................. 36 Program Delivery Cedarville University has designed the combined PharmD/MAI and the combined PharmD/MBA degree programs to be flexible and responsive to student needs. MAI and MBA courses are offered year-round in fully online seven-week sessions. Admission Standards Students must complete at least one semester of the graduate professional PharmD program (P1) before applying for the PharmD/MAI or the PharmD/MBA combined degree programs. Students must demonstrate strong academic performance in the PharmD program, obtain a letter of recommendation from their pharmacy advisor, and complete a brief essay as part of the MAI or MBA application. Students must maintain a minimum of a 3.0 GPA in both programs. Students admitted to the PharmD program through an alternate undergraduate pathway who do not hold a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution may be admitted to the PharmD/MAI or the PharmD/MBA combined degree program after one year of enrollment and confirmation of satisfactory progress in the PharmD program at Cedarville University. In this situation, eligibility for the MAI or MBA degree is contingent upon concurrent or prior conferral of the PharmD degree.
