Abbie also had several opportunities to perform in various theatre productions and was a member of the Forensics team, under the advisement of Professor Matt Moore. She says of the program, “The competitive acting training I received while studying under Professor Matt Moore in the Forensics program was invaluable for my acting career, as well as the opportunities I had to participate in multiple main-stage and student shows through the theatre program.” Currently, Abbie lives and works in Los Angeles, California, where she is involved in various acting opportunities. Abbie has worked on productions such as Grey’s Anatomy , CSI: Miami , Criminal Minds , NCIS: LA , among others. In addition to her career, Abbie also invests time to be a part of a Beverly Hills church plant that strives to reach young Hollywood professionals in the television, film, and music industries. The Hollywood Prayer Network is also a vital part of Abbie’s life. The Network, which exists to make an impact for Christ in Hollywood through prayer, connects those in the industry to prayer partners, small groups, churches, and other ministries. Through the HPN, Abbie has been blessed by a family of prayer partners committed to praying, encouraging, and loving on her as she continues in the industry. Despite the stereotypes of Hollywood, Abbie assures that God is moving in Hollywood. She states, “It thrills me to encourage and lift up young Christian performers [as Hollywood needs] more believers who are contributing quality work to the field in all areas—acting, directing, and writing included!”
