Congratulations to Our 2014 Alumni Award Winners Daniel Petek ‘87 Alumnus of the Year Daniel is the President and CEO of Castek Aluminum in Elyria, Ohio, and Castek Innovations in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, and is a partner with Cascade Pattern, Inc., and GPD Development. Dan was recognized for his commitment to integrating faith into his successful career. June Perry Honorary Alumna of the Year June was recognized for her legacy of giving and faithful support to Cedarville Univer- sity. She and her late husband, Alvin, have made significant investments to Cedarville through charitable gift annuities, which will continue to help support Cedarville students for years to come. Naomi Washatka ‘10 Alumni Impact Award Naomi was recognized for her consistent support in assisting Cedarville students. She has served as a personal reference for many Cedarville students, traveled to Cedarville to recruit current students, and has answered questions for graduates interested in nonprofit and humanitarian work. Her work ethic has impressed her organization enough to take a special interest in Cedarville. Brian Dye ‘99 One Another Mindset Award Brian has committed his life to urban ministry and inner-city outreach. He has worked extensively with Inner City Impact in Chicago and is the founder of the Legacy Institute, a ministry birthed in Chicago to impact urban youth and young adults. Robert Rohm ‘68 Distinguished Service Award Bob was recognized for his support of stu- dents over the past 20 years. He has min- istered to literally thousands of students through Christian ministry leadership, chap- el involvement, and personal counseling. He has also led Advisory 7, Campus Fellowship, and several MIS teams to Australia and the Amazon and helped to direct the ERAP program, which saw the Gospel taken to hundreds in China through teaching English.
