Megan (McMacken) Rock ’97 and her husband, John, announce the birth of Ian Peter on July 2, 2014. Ian, who shares a birthday with his daddy, was welcomed home by Sela (10), Evan (8), and Gemma (5). The family resides in Chesterfield, Michigan, where John ministers to the adult foster care community and Megan homeschools the children. Kristy (Young) Sherman ’99 and her husband, George, announce the birth of Julia Faith on April 2, 2014. They live in Indianapolis, Indiana. Sarah (Rittgers) Roduner ’00 and her husband, Steve, announce the birth of Violet Susannah on March 5, 2013. She was welcomed by big brother Timothy (6) and big sister Talia (4). The Roduners live in Rochester, Minnesota, where Steve is a software engineer and Sarah works part time as a nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Dan Foster ’01 and his wife, Breeze, announce the birth of Calvin Daniel on December 17, 2013. He joined big siblings Autumn, Micah, Isaac, and Opal. The Fosters live outside Baltimore, Maryland, where Dan is a Systems Engineer with Booz Allen Hamilton and Breeze homeschools the kids. Dan recently obtained his certification as a Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP). Kara (Allen) Niclasen ‘01 and her husband, Ryan, announce the birth of Boaz Isaiah on September 3, 2013. He was welcomed home by siblings Noah Ivan (8), Selah Irene (6), Andrew Isaac (4), and Kandace Isabel (2). The family resides near Niagara Falls, Ontario. Adam ’02 and Michelle (Rigel) McCune ’04 announce the birth of Mikaylyn Rose on April 18, 2014. She was welcomed home by big brother Tinsley (4). Adam is the Associate Pastor at Shawnee Hills Baptist Church in Jamestown, Ohio, and Michelle enjoys staying home with the children. Mark Riddle ’03 and his wife, Jentry, announce the birth of McKenna Katherine on July 28, 2013. McKenna was welcomed by her big sister, Adelyn. Mark was recently promoted to the rank of major in the United States Army and serves as an emergency physician in Fort Hood, Texas. Jentry continues her work as a physician assistant in the allergy and asthma field. Grafton ’04 and Cathy (Farley) Bowersox ’04 announce the birth of Kinsley June on June 5, 2014. She was welcomed home by her big brother, Cooper, and big sister, Addyson. Grafton is a Deputy and Cathy teaches kindergarten. They live in Waynesville, Ohio. Carrie (Churchward) Etress ’05 and her husband, Jeremy, announce the birth of Delaney Leigh on May 20, 2014. Jeremy is a Business Systems Analyst at the Suntrust Banks headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia, and Carrie is a stay-at-home mom. They reside in Newnan, Georgia.
