Marriages & In Memoriam| alumnotes Carol (Brown) Middleton ’63 of Absecon, New Jersey, passed away on December 16, 2016. IN MEMORIAM MARRIAGES Liz Clawson ‘04 and Brian Raitman were married on October 2, 2016, on a ski run in Breckenridge, Colorado. They are making their home in Breckenridge, where Liz owns Dog’s Next Best Friend, a dog-walking and pet-sitting business, and Brian owns Raitman Art Galleries. Tim Beck ‘05 and Melissa Binford were married on December 11, 2015, in Boise, Idaho. Tim is the COO of Valli Information Systems, Inc., and Melissa expects to complete her master’s in counseling in May 2017, with plans to be a school counselor. Jennifer Lewellyn ’05 and Eassa Faheem were married on June 18, 2016, in Xenia, Ohio. They live in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where Eassa works at a linguistics center and Jennifer uses her Master of Arts in clinical counseling in an elementary public school. Lana Pratt ’05 and Donald Brent Pratt, Jr., were married on December 20, 2014, in Portland, Oregon. Heather Kelton ’07 and Hamilton Vernon were married on December 19, 2015. The Lord brought them together on a medical missions trip in El Salvador. They live in North Carolina, where Heather is a NICU nurse and Hamilton is in medical school. Chelsea Brett ‘13 and Marc Pagliuca were married on May 28, 2016, in Spartanburg, South Carolina. They currently reside in Greenville. Chelsea is the Visit Coordinator at Wofford College, and Marc works in video production. Jeff Johnson ’14 and Sarah McCord were married on July 2, 2014, in Tampa, Florida. Joel Pfahler ’12 and Johanna Leszczynski ’12 were married on June 6, 2015. Esther Fluhart ‘15 and Joel Yost were married in October 2015. They now live in Lynchburg, Virginia, where Esther works for Goodwill Industries as a Case Manager in their Workforce Development program. Spring 2017 | Cedarville University
