Robert (Bob) Auffort ’64 retired after nearly 46 years of service in the Corporate Finance Department of the ABWE home office. He served for 25 years as Director of Missionary Finance and most recently as Assistant to the Treasurer. He and his wife, Luann (Mundhenk) Auffort ’65 , have four children and six grandchildren. They live in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. Ty ’64 and Pat (Adams) Bryant ’64 are part of a group of Cedarville alumni from 1964 and 1965 that meets annually in Shipshewana, Indiana, to share about life and encourage each other. In June, Dale Holmes ’67 received the Ohio Water Environmentalist Association award for Analyst of the Year for the state of Ohio. Dale has worked as Head Chemist for Medina County for 41 years. He and his wife, Joan (Schultz) Holmes ’67 , live in Medina, Ohio. Don Atherton ’71 recently retired after 38 years of teaching and coaching in Florida public schools. He now lives in Live Oak, Florida, with his wife, Marilyn, enjoying plenty of extra time to serve the Lord. David Bintz ’75 and his wife, Cindy, will be moving to northern Spain to work at L’Arcada Camp and Retreat Center, with hopes of building up the sports program to bring in more children ages 7 to 18 to the camp so they can hear the Gospel. They plan to be in Spain indefinitely by spring of 2014. Alice (Miller) Neal ’77 received a first-place award for Best Advertising Headline during the 127th Montana Newspaper Association convention held in Big Sky, Montana. More than 2,000 entries were judged by the Press Association from Maryland, Delaware, and Washington, D.C. Alice also won a first-place award in 2010 for a spot color ad. She is a graphic artist for the Lewistown News-Argus in Lewistown, Montana. Denise (Hunn) Alford ‘78 is a foreclosure specialist at PNC Mortgage in Miamisburg, Ohio. She and her husband, Charles, live in West Carrollton, Ohio. Debby (Zaller) Stephens ’78 recently started a speaking ministry: Life’s Journeys — “Everyone Has a Story, What’sYours?” Debby also serves on the Board of Trustees for the University and is the Chair of the Executive Board of Safe Harbor House women’s ministry in Springfield, Ohio. She received certification in life coaching and was published in Torch (Sept. 2011) with an article on the importance of solitude in your life. Debby sings in the OneVoice choir at Cedarville, loves college students, and loves being “Mimi” to Kara, Caden, and Henry. Debby resides in Cedarville, Ohio. Dennis Patterson ’84 is the director of the Canons High School choir in Harrow, London. He and his choir had the opportunity to perform a new work, Angry Planet , composed specially for the BBC Proms’ main Olympic concert at Royal Albert Hall on August 5, 2012. Mike Wittmer ’89 published The Last Enemy (Discovery House), an honest look at death and the hope we have in Jesus who conquered it. The book will inspire anyone who is troubled by the inevitability of death. Mike lives with his wife, Julie, and their children in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where he teaches theology with a fellow Cedarville alumnus, Jeremy Grinnell ’95 , at Grand Rapids Theological Seminary. Lori Jean (Rodgers) Smith ’94 released her third CD as an artist with Loop Road in Orlando, Florida.
