Brent ’95 and Stephenie (Yager) LaVasseur ’96 announce the birth of Alexis Kristine on May 3, 2012. They reside in Maple Grove, Minnesota, where Stephenie works for Regis Salons, and Brent is a chemical lab technician for BASF Corporation. Abigail (Brown) Wagler ’96 and her husband, James, announce the birth of Elliott James on January 21, 2011. He was welcomed home by his big sisters, Elizabeth (11), Gracie (9), and Jillian (5). They reside in Sarasota, Florida, where James is a self-employed plumber, and Abigail stays home with the children. Elliott ’97 and Sara (Howell) Gilham ’97 announce the birth of Ella Jill on August 24, 2011. She was welcomed home by her sisters, Isabelle (10) and Madeline (9), and brother Samuel (5). Sara enjoys being a stay-at-home wife and mother. Elliott is the Director of E-Commerce Solutions at Liebert Corporation. They live in Galena, Ohio. Jamie (Weiss) Gabbard ’98 and her husband, Art, announce the birth of William Christian on January 3, 2012. Brother Benjamin (3) welcomed him home in Dayton, Ohio. Peter ’00 and Rebecca (Jordan) Bednarek ’99 announce the birth of Anne Jordan on June 26, 2011. She joined big brother John Boaz (5). Peter is the junior and senior high school principal for Galway Central Schools, and Rebecca is working toward completing her Family Nurse Practitioner degree. They reside in West Glenville, New York. Jonathan ’98 and Shannon (Snow) Head ’98 announce the birth of Kourtney Mae on October 16, 2011. Kourtney was welcomed home by her brother, Jake Clayton (4), and her sister, Kaylie Noelle (2). The family resides in Bowie, Maryland, where Jonathan teaches dialectic literature at a classical Christian school. Shannon taught high school English for nine years and now enjoys staying home with the kids. Lonnie Nolt ’00 and his wife, Mandy, announce the birth of Shelby Corrine on July 30, 2012. She was welcomed home by sister Corbyn (2). Lonnie is a project engineer at Ohio Willow Wood, and Mandy works in Accreditation Services at Cedarville University. They live in Washington Court House, Ohio. Elizabeth (Steenwyk) Krol ’02 and her husband, Mike, announce the birth of Levi Michael on May 5, 2012. He joined his big brothers, Caleb (2) and Logan (2). Elizabeth is a stay-at-home mom, and Mike is a manager at a celery and onion farm. They reside in Zeeland, Michigan. Rebekah (Thompson) Pitz ’01 and her husband, Greg, announce the birth of Trenton Alan Samuel on June 26, 2010. He was born at 28 weeks and is a complete miracle of God’s healing. He was joined by siblings Ellie (8) and Tyler (4). The family lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where Greg is a laser physicist, and Rebekah stays home with their children. Brenton ’02 and Rachel (Verosky) Moore ’02 announce the birth of Sadie Leanne on May 5, 2012. Brenton is a financial analyst at Coordinated Care Services, Inc. Rachel is a lead teacher at DoodleBugs! Preschool and Children’s Center. They reside in Rochester, New York. Brian ’01 and Bethany (Walden) Sampsel ’02 announce the birth of Chelsea Elizabeth on November 30, 2011. She was welcomed home by Christine Lynn (3). They reside in Westerville, Ohio, where Brian is Manager of Analytics for Express, and Bethany is a stay-at-home mom. Jason ’02 and Stephanie Webb ’04 announce the adoption of their son, Caedmon. Caedmon was born in Ethiopia in October 2010 and was welcomed home earlier this year by his older sisters. The family lives in Plymouth, Indiana. Rob Marshall ’02 and his wife, Erica, announce the birth of Eli Hosea on March 6, 2012. Rob is a professional counselor at a private Christian clinic working with individuals and couples, and Erica is a stay-at- home mom. They reside in Branson, Missouri. Lauren (Bizzoco) Migdon ’02 and her husband, Jason, announce the birth of Alexandra Hope on June 15, 2012. They live in Jackson, New Jersey. Matt ’03 and Megann (Harbough) Stephens ’05 announce the birth of Caden Matthew on January 22, 2011. He joined big sister Kara. Matt works at QlikTech as a pre-sales consultant for their Health Care division for the United States. Megann enjoys being home with Kara and Caden. Matt and Megann are leaders in the youth group at Colonial Baptist Church in Cary, North Carolina. This past year, Matt participated in a triathlon.
