Laura Roby ’76 served on the ethics committee of Stetson University in DeLand, Florida. Laura has also served for the last two years on the Member Advisory Committee for the AARP, providing advice for elder issues. She was selected for Who’s Who in Executive and Professional People in America for her exceptional private tutoring and résumé services. Stacy (Towle) Morgan ’80 , a children’s author, former journalist, and professor, released a two-volume eBook, 52 Ways to Worship , published by Patheos Press. Teena M. (Coronato) Bryson ’86 , of Barboursville, West Virginia, opened a private practice in counseling. She resides in Barboursville with her husband, Jeffrey, and son, Roman. Scott Brooker ’86 was named President of Centre County Mutual Insurance Company in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania. Wendy Widder ’90 received her Ph.D. in Near Eastern studies from the University of the Free State in Bloemfontein, South Africa. In August 2012, Wendy moved to Bellingham, Washington, to be a contributing editor at Logos Bible Software. Todd Fogle ’92 was promoted to Colonel, graduated from National Defense University, and will soon deploy for a year to Afghanistan as Director of the Presidential Information Coordination Center. Todd and Johanna (Burtis) Fogle ’90 live near Washington, D.C., with their three children. Rev. Tyler Thompson ’94 and New England Bible Church celebrated the church’s 30th anniversary in September. A recent ministry addition is a partnership New England Bible Church formed in Matochos, Guatemala. Tyler and his wife, Leslie (Hack) Thompson ’95 , have four children. Amber (Rohweder) VandenBos ’98 and her husband, Daryl, live in Cedarville, Ohio, with their three children, twins Brooke Elizabeth and Kate MaKenna (5) and Lynsie Elise (3). Amber has been a flight nurse for CareFlight Air and Mobile Services at Miami Valley Hospital for the past 11 years; she previously worked as an ER nurse. Daryl is a full-time firefighter/paramedic for the city of Xenia. Caleb Hague ’03 and his wife, Krystie, along with their two children, Elijah Edison (3) and Lydia Joy (1), have been appointed by the Association of Baptists for World Evangelism (ABWE) and are being sent by Highland Hills Baptist Church of Grand Rapids, Michigan, to serve as missionaries/church planters in Spain. Danny Dieringer ’03 announces the completion of his Ph.D. in counseling psychology and human systems, a combined program in counseling psychology and school psychology, from The Florida State University. Danny has accepted a postdoctoral fellowship in forensic psychology at a state psychiatric hospital in Columbus, Georgia. Mark Awabdy ’04 graduated with a Ph.D. in biblical studies from Asbury Theological Seminary. Mark is serving as an assistant pastor in Grand Rapids, Michigan. His wife, Leslie (Williams) ’05, homeschools and cares for sons Weston (5), Ty (3), and Jakob (1). The Awabdys are missionary candidates to South Asia with TEAM. Stephanie (White) Gaylord ’05 and her husband, JP, along with their children Abigail (3) and John (1), have been appointed as missionaries with the Greater Europe Mission.
