DARE TO BE A DUCK On February 22, 2014, our Chancellor Dr. Paul Dixon was part of a fundraising and outreach event in Charleston, West Virginia, that included the famous Robertson family from the A&E series Duck Dynasty . More than 6,000 people were on hand at the Charleston Civic Center to hear the Robertsons present the Gospel and share what Jesus Christ has meant to them individually and as a family. Dr. Dixon was invited to share a brief Gospel message and give an invitation at the end of the service. The event was put together by numerous organizations and churches, including Bible Center Church in Charleston, which is pastored by Cedarville Board member and alumnus Eric Mounts ’81. The event helped raise money for Youth Commission International. Dr. Dixon poses with Silas Robertson, who is sporting his 40-year-old Tupperware tumbler filled with his favorite ice tea.
