alumnotes | News Esther (Colgan) Davis ’67 retired after 47 years of joyous teaching, mostly in Cleveland, Ohio. She is now enjoying life with her eight children and 18 grandchildren and working on her home and gardens. Terrence Mudder ’75 is a retired Air Traffic Controller and now volunteers as a Chaplain at the local YMCA, tutors in English as a Second Language (ESL), and teaches adult Sunday school. He and wife Sharon (Johns) ’74 live in Olive Branch, Mississippi, and attend First Evangelical Church in Memphis, Tennessee. They have two grown children serving in missions. Jeff Subra ’83 had the privilege of working with Danielle Price ’12 during a recent deployment with the Samaritan’s Purse Emergency Field Hospital in Iraq. Jeff reports that Danielle was a tremendous asset in the ICU, caring for war-torn post-op patients, including innocent women and children. Her unconditional love exemplified the hands and feet of Jesus. Carol Holtz ’86 has achieved the rank of Diamond Wellness Advocate with doTERRA Essential Oils and is enjoying traveling and getting to know and help educate her team of wellness advocates and customers on the uses of essential oils and more! Carol lives just south of Nashville, Tennessee, and loves everything about living in the south! William Bianco ’88 has served as the Awana missionary for the Washington, D.C. metro area, Maryland, and Northern Virginia since 2004. Previously, he was associate and senior pastor for Leavittsburg Baptist Church in Warren, Ohio, from 1989–2004. Rod Robison ’75 had a book, Unmasking the Masquerade: Three Illusionists Investigate Deception, Fear and the Supernatural , recently released by Encourage Publishing. Rod is a comedy magician who has performed for London’s Magic Circle Theater, Holland America Cruise Lines, and numerous corporate events. Fellow magician Terry Holley ’74 also provided research for the book. Glenn Fawcett ’77 earned his M.B.A. from Loyola College in 1984 and has gone on to own and operate several businesses: Riva Construction since 1980, Cedarville Hardware since 1999, and The Corner Bakery since 2006. Debbie (Fakan) Shattuck ’81 recently had a book, Bloomer Girls: Women Baseball Pioneers , published by the University of Illinois Press. It is the first book devoted entirely to the history of 19th century female baseball players.
