Tyler ’07 and Abby (Price) Schumacher ’07 announce the birth of Elodie Grace in July 2016. She joined older sister Elise. Wendy (Austin) Carter ’08, M.Ed. ’14 and her husband, Kenton, announce the birth of Austin Charles Joseph on September 24, 2016. He was welcomed home by big sister Emery. They reside in Norton Shores, Michigan. alumnotes | Births & In Memoriam Tim ’09 and Angeline (Melendez) Labrado ’09 announce the birth of Selah Malaya on December 8, 2016. The family lives in Cleveland, Ohio, where Tim serves on a church staff and Angeline works as a Title 1 teacher. Older daughter Isabella enjoys being a big sister. AJ ’07 and Alison (Kearney) Clemans ’10 announce the birth of Katherine Faith on November 2, 2016. She was welcomed home by siblings Kara (3) and Andrew (1). AJ and Alison operate a Chick-fil-A in Falls Church, Virginia. Jesse ’12 and Valentina (Blackburn) Kuiken ’12 announce the birth of Coral Joy on June 22, 2016. She joined two older brothers, Justus (4) and Kodiak (2), in Roseau, Minnesota. BIRTHS David Selden ’55 of Cedarville, Ohio, passed away February 9, 2017. Gordon Langeneger ’64 of Sarasota, Florida, passed away November 30, 2016. Mary (Cunningham) Williams ’65 of Freeport, Florida, passed away November 8, 2016. Judith (Black) Bianco ’88 of Bowie, Maryland, passed away on September 2, 2016.
