alumnotes | News Alex ’74 and Pam (Stallard) Konya ’75 are celebrating 45 years of ministry. After 16 years in the pastorate, they joined Word of Life in 1990 and moved to Hungary to co-found a Bible institute, serving 12 years as the main Bible teacher and Academic Dean and nine years as Director for the ministries at Word of Life Hungary. In 2013, Alex was named Regional Director for Word of Life Europe; they are currently serving 18 countries. 1 Marla (Waddle) Cross ’82 recently published her second book, The Alabaster Box, A Year of Adventures in Extraordinary Worship . Containing an endorsement by Cedarville University Chancellor Dr. Paul Dixon, the book suggests an “above and beyond” worship activity for each week of the year. Accompanying each entry is a worksheet to record the week’s experiences. Copies of the book, along with her first book, Cloud of Witnesses , are available through Amazon. Kurt ’84 and Faye (Horton) Wilcox ’82 recently relocated to High Point, North Carolina, after living in Wadsworth, Illinois, for 19 years. Kurt accepted the position of Associate Analytical Scientist with Cambrex in its Analytical Research and Development Group. They have three children, all graduates of Cedarville: Kaleb ’10 and wife, Sara ’10; Spencer ’13; and Taylor ’15, and a granddaughter, Avery Drew. Julie (Stackhouse) Moore ’87 had her fourth collection of poetry, Full Worm Moon , published this year by Cascade Books, an imprint of Wipf & Stock, in its Poiema Poetry Series. This is Moore’s second collection included in this esteemed series. This book helps children learn the alphabet, but, more importantly, memorize Scripture. It’s a great tool for parents to use to disciple their children in the Word. It can be found on Amazon or at the website grandoakpublishers.com. 3 Nikolas Grosfield ’05 and his wife, Elsbeth, were married 10 years ago and have two boys, Ole (6) and Eli (2). After four years in Qatar, they returned to Nik’s family’s cattle ranch in Montana in 2014. Nik is growing his own cattle herd there, and he publishes articles on faith and politics. Michelle Lanham ’07 is an attorney in private practice who owns and operates her own law firm based in Columbus, Ohio. She is admitted to the bar in the state of Ohio and her areas of practice include employment law, civil rights, consumer protection, and personal injury. Tyler Yoder ’07 recently had his first book published: Fishers of Fish and Fishers of Men: Fishing Imagery in the Hebrew Bible and the Ancient Near East . Tyler and his wife, Cathy (Daniels) ’07, recently celebrated their 11th anniversary. They currently reside in Culver, Indiana, with their three little explorers, Asher (5), Ellery (3), and Callan (1).
