alumnotes 1 Todd Fogle ’92 was recently promoted to Brigadier General after 27 years in the United States Air Force. He and Johanna (Burtis) ’90 live in Northern Virginia. 2 Diane (Davison) Hannay ’92, M.Ed. ’15 , has recently published What Is God’s Plan For Me? , a Gospel-focused book for children ages 5 to 10 years old. What Is God’s Plan For Me? covers 13 Gospel topics using language that is biblical and age-appropriate. The book may be ordered through Diane’s website, dianehannay.org, Amazon, or Barnes and Noble. 3 Christine (Compton) Bennett ’00 , a National Board- Certified Teacher, was recently named a Certified Professional Human Capital Leader in Education (pHCLE). Christine is a district administrator and the head recruiter for Wayne-Finger Lakes Board of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES) in the Human Resources Department. She resides in Webster, New York, with her two sons. NEW ADDITIONS Samuel Mantravadi ’99 and his wife, Amy, welcomed their first child, Thomas Jaideep, on February 12, 2020. 4 Stephen Sharp ’05 and his wife, Laurin, welcomed Sydney Grace in August 2020. The family lives in Chicago, Illinois. 5 Jamie (Ralston) Montie ‘06 and her husband, Steven, announce the birth of their second child, Colin Gary, born June 25, 2020. Colin was enthusiastically welcomed by big sister Cora. They reside in Silver Spring, Maryland. 6 Becky (Hornbrook) Peppers ’06 and her husband, Josh, announce the birth of Madalynn Jean on July 18, 2020. Madalynn was welcomed by her proud big brother, Micah. The Peppers reside in Bluffton, Indiana, where Josh is a process engineer for Valero and Becky stays home with the children. 7 Hannah (Laswell) Risch ’10 and her husband, Chad, announce the birth of their son, Landon Jeffrey, on May 27, 2020. Big sister Paisley couldn’t be more thrilled! 8 Peter ’13 and Brittany (Smith) Voland ’14 are happy to announce the birth of their son, Ryan James, on November 24, 2020. 9 Laura Allen ’17 married Joshua Brooks on April 18, 2020. 10 Joshua Garling ’08 married Stephanie Leis on August 1, 2020, in Ansonia, Ohio.
