1992-1993 Cedarville College Annual Report
to Cedarville. At one school I visited, I met with someone from their admissions office who told me that there were no rules on campus- I could drink or have guys in my room if I wanted. That did not appeal to me at all. Their campus atmosphere seemed so depressing. Cedarville has helped me develop in many ways. I am learning many things about myself- like how to focus on Christ and better develop my relationship with Him. I am learning how to trust other people and to lean on my Christian brothers and sisters for support. They became a big source of support last year during winter quarter as I was going through some pretty tough times. And my main source of strength is always the Lord. Cedarville has helped me develop academically as well. I have learned much about nursing and I enjoy the daily challenges that this major brings. My roommate, Lisa, has had the biggest impact on my life here at Cedarville. Her personality is totally opposite of mine-she is a laid back, quiet person-yefwe hav found that we are very similar in many ways. She always knows the right things to say to get me back on track and we often pray ---------- _) together to strut out the day. It's people like her that make Cedarville such a great place to be. Chapel has also helped me develop as a person. It has made me realize how big a part spiritual things play in my life. I don't know what I would do without chapel every day. It is a nice break from classes-a good time to focus on the Word of God. My involvement in Iota Chi Phi is my primary ministry. Being president of this intercultural student organization gives me many opportunities to minister to different people. And I try to make myself available to anyone who needs any kind of help.
