1997-1998 Cedarville College Annual Report

midst of this chaos, there arises the eternal, glorious truth that God is still in control and provides for us a dwelling place- a place of service as well as rest and protection. The psalm ends with another plea. This one is "may the favor of the Lord our God rest upon us; establish the work of our hands for us- yea, establish the work of our hands." That, too, is a prayer to which all of us involved in the ministry of Cedarville College can relate. We work hard at our mission, which is to provide an education consistent with biblical truth. Long hours, sacrifice, and commitment to our students are common denominators for our faculty, staff, and administrators. Just as important, many donors give sacrificially and our friends pray regularly. But we all know, absent God's favor, the "work of our hands" would be irrelevant and even harmful. The following pages are an overview of what has occurred on our campus over the past year. Lest anyone think otherwise, this report is a testament not to what we have accomplished, but to what God has accomplished through His people. The Lord hill established the work of our hands. We continue to prosper in a variety of ways, including the spiritual development of our students, the service and outreach of the College family, and in physical and material blessings. God bless you for your continuing interest in and support of Cedarville College. On behalf of our 2,650 students, Paul Dixon
