2004-2005 Annual Report

26 The 2004-2005 academic year brought transitions in key administrative and academic leadership positions. David Ormsbee was named vice president for advancement effective November 1, 2004. No stranger to the University family, Mr. Ormsbee has served at the University for 25 years as director of admissions and more recently as vice president for enrollment management. Two other new administrators were appointed effective July 1, 2005 — John Gredy, vice president for enrollment management, and Robert Milliman, academic vice president. Dr. Gredy comes to Cedarville from Indiana Wesleyan University, where he spent the past eight years as vice president for enrollment management and marketing. Dr. Milliman most recently served as dean of Cedarville’s School of Humanities, Fine Arts, and Bible. He came to the University in 2004 from Central Baptist Theological Seminary, where he served as professor and assistant to the dean. Dr. Duane Wood, who provided leadership to the academic division from 1987 through June 2005, assumed a new position on July 1 as executive director for program development. In this role, Dr. Wood will research new program opportunities that will expand the University’s academic influence and reputation. God continues to demonstrate His faithfulness to Cedarville by providing outstanding, godly leadership. Please pray for wisdom, direction, and vision to accomplish all that God has for the University in the days ahead.
