2004-2005 Annual Report

Minds for Truth Academic success at Cedarville finds its ultimate value in Truth. Our mission statement communicates three powerful themes about the Cedarville academic experience: We equip leaders. Our standard is excellence. Our foundation is Truth. Leadership Leaders make a difference. They shape opinions, make discoveries, and influence direction. They change the world. Leaders engage the difficult legal, moral, and political issues of our day. As Christians whose faith must inform and guide us, we have no choice but to take a stand in troubled times. In 2004, Cedarville initiated the Center for Political Studies to articulate a biblical view of government through the study of politics, law, history, and public policy and to engage and influence American political culture. Students have opportunities to participate in innovative programs sponsored by the Center including the Cedarville Roundtable, student research, and a summer scholars program. The first Roundtable presentation, held April 12, focused on “The Ethics of Faith-Based Policy.”
