2007-2008 Annual Report

Chance l l or ’s Gr ee t i ng Since 1953, when James T. Jeremiah became president of the newly formed Cedarville College, this institution has been built on the foundation of God’s Word. Cedarville University exists — then and now — for “the Word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ.” For the past 55 years, our faculty, staff, trustees, donors, and alumni have stood firm on this foundation. As president, I was privileged to work alongside them as we sought to carry forward Dr. Jeremiah’s vision. The new Center for Biblical and Theological Studies demonstrates another step in accomplishing this goal. God has given us our Bible faculty and this facility to prepare students to influence the world with the heart and mind of Christ. I thank God for the trustees of the past and present who had the vision to keep this institution grounded on the Word of God. I thank God for Dr. Bill Brown and his executive team who are building on our biblical foundation. And I thank God for all those who have made the CBTS — and our mission — possible. What we experience today at Cedarville University is because of those in the past who planted, watered, and cultivated seeds. Thank you for playing a significant role in what God is doing at Cedarville. Dr. Paul Dixon Chancellor CELEBRATING THE CENTER FOR BIBLICAL AND THEOLOGICAL STUDIES 6
