Our Mission Cedarville University is a Christ-centered learning community equipping students for lifelong leadership and service through an education marked by excellence and grounded in biblical truth. This mission statement has attracted Christian students from around the world to Cedarville’s beautiful campus. Since our founding in 1887, we have built a national reputation for rigorous, Christ-centered academic programs. More than two-thirds of our students study in the sciences, health-relatedmajors, or professional programs— a statistic that sets us apart from other private and Christian colleges. Every academic program is built upon a liberal arts core that includes biblical education, communications, global studies, humanities, physical education, science andmathematics, and the social sciences.
