BEYOND THE CLASSROOM In 2011–12: 11 engineering students represented Cedarville in the Netherlands at the DONG Energy Solar Challenge 15 students represented Cedarville as National Model United Nations diplomats, earning second place Distinguished Delegation 35 mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering majors designed and built top-five finishing vehicles at the Shell Eco-Marathon Americas competition in Houston, Texas 42 recent graduates taught English in China 73 education majors were student teachers in local schools 122 students studied abroad 131 nursing students completed clinical rotations in local hospitals 357 students represented Cedarville in HeartSong, OneVoice, and worship ministries 420 students participated in local community ministries 501 students reported summer internships 9
