2011-2012 Annual Report

VISION 2020 Early in 2011, Cedarville unveiled Vision 2020, a short-term strategic map that will position us to reach our longer-term goals. Among the Vision 2020 priorities is to position Cedarville to become one of the premier Christ-centered universities in the nation. Three Areas of Focus: Reflecting the Diversity of the Body of Christ Cedarville is taking intentional steps to create a more multicultural campus community. By 2020, we intend to more than double the racial diversity in the student body from its current 7 percent to 15 percent by the year 2020. We have implemented a number of new programs, created new staff positions, and formed strategic partnerships with national organizations including the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference. Launching Strategic Programs Cedarville is expanding its student market by increasing our graduate and online programs. In early 2013, we will launch a fully online Master of Business Administration. This new program will complement our Master of Science in Nursing and fully online Master of Education programs. We are working to develop a graduate program in Bible, funded by the Kern Foundation. Expanding Our National Reputation Based on the success of the 2011 G92 Immigration Conference, we have planned an exciting lineup of Critical Concern conferences that present Christ-centered perspectives on key issues Christians face today. Over the next four years, Cedarville will host major conferences that will challenge evangelicals on the economy (2012), sexuality (2013), race (2014), and culture (2015). 11
