What a privilege to celebrate 125 years of God’s blessing on Cedarville University. Throughout our history, God has brought the right people at the right time to advance His work. His fingerprints are evident on every page of our story. It’s especially poignant to look back on 2011–12 in light of this milestone year. This year, perhaps more than others, we were acutely aware of key individuals and key moments in our history that laid crucial foundations for present growth and future opportunities. Our membership into the National Collegiate Athletic Association, for example, would not have been possible without the visionary men and women who set high standards for our athletic program, building in values like character and integrity. Generations of coaches and athletic staff upheld these values and instilled them in the athletes, earning the University a well-deserved reputation among area coaches and officials. Their daily commitment to excellence, in thousands of unseen ways, paved the way for Cedarville to take our athletic program to the next level. Our move to the NCAA this year is both a culmination of faithfulness and an open door into the next chapter of Cedarville athletics. This grateful look to our past and confident look to our future captures what we mean by “Inspiring Greatness for 125 Years.” Through your investment, past and present, you have been among the right people at the right time to advance Cedarville.
