2012-2013 Annual Report

Cedarville faculty inspire achievement as they help students grapple with content, connect what they are learning, and use Scripture to evaluate ideas and theories. One of the many people at Cedarville who impacted my life was Dr. Chris Miller, Senior Professor of Biblical Studies. I first met Chris when he taught at Word of Life Bible Institute. Our paths crossed again several years later when God brought us both to Cedarville, me as a student and Chris as a professor. The way he simplified God’s Word made an impression on me. He viewed everything through a clear filter of Christ, and he instilled that in me every single day of class. As a married student, I had those days when life seemed heavy, and I didn’t always know what to do next. I could always talk to Chris when I was struggling. He loved Jesus, pursued excellence, and was willing to help me in every way to become an excellent man of Christ. I thank God for him. Now I am a father of three daughters, one who is currently a senior at Cedarville. My heart has been greatly moved by what God has done in my life because of Chris and his impact on me.
