ThomasWhite President, CedarvilleUniversity FALL BIBLE CONFERENCE On thefinal evening of Fall BibleConference, approximately50 students came forward to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord andSavior. Nearly200made other decisions to honorChristwith their lives. The start of each semester is an intentional time to challenge students to evaluate their faithand considerGod’s call on their lives. #CUGO CONTINUES GOSPEL FOCUS At CedarvilleUniversity, wewant every student to take amissions tripbefore graduationand experience the joyof sharing theGospel of Jesus Christ in a cross-cultural setting. OurGlobal Outreachdepartment ismaking that happen. This past year, 323 faculty, staff, and students traveled to 27 countries to share themessage of hope found in Jesus. THEWARREN AND BETTY WIERSBE LIBRARY AND READING ROOM We opened anddedicated theWarren andBettyWiersbe Library andReading Roomduringhomecomingweekend. HoldingDr.WarrenWiersbe’s vast collectionof commentaries, nonfiction publications, andworks of literature, this librarywill be a tremendous resource for our students as they study God’sWord andprepare forministry. CHAPEL: THE HEARTBEAT OF CEDARVILLE Daily chapel continues tobe the heartbeat of campus. Duringhisweekly chapel series this academic year, Dr. White is leading students through the bookofNehemiah, following the theme of “Faithful” and examininghow wehave apromise-keepingGod even thoughwe are apromise-breaking people. Cedarville has transformed my relationshipwith God, my perspective on life, andmy desire to learn.
