18 IV •. ADMINISTRATION AND ORGANIZATION 0 F THE COLLEGE a) Board ~f Trustees. The governing body of Cedarville College is a Board of Trustees composed of hot more than thirty members, each elected for a term of three years, The final responsibility for the operation and management of the college shall be in the hands of this Board. All officers of the college are elected by them and all faculty appointments are confirmed by them. Each trustee must be a Christian and a member in good standing of some independent Baptist church which maintains a position comparable to that held by the college. Each trus– tee is required to subscribe to the Doctrinal Statement of the college. The membership of the Board shall be divided into three classes of ten members each, and the members of one class shall be elected each year by the Board at the annual meeting, Not less than seven members shall be bona fide residents of the State of Ohio. The officers of the Board are.~a chairman, vice -chairman, secretary and treasurer, elected annually by the Board, The College is approved by, but not directly related to the General Association of Regular Baptist Churches, there– fore, the Board necessarily is one of a self-perpetuating nature, and not elected by the denomination. The name, profession and addresses of our present Board are found in Appendix C. b) The Administration. As stated above, the final responsibility for the operation of the college is in the hands of the Board of Trustees, The president of the college is elected by and is responsible to them, The other officers of the Administration, Dean of the College, Dean of Students, Registrar are also appointed by the Trustees, but are
