DR. JAMfS T. JEREMIAH, PRESIDENT Without compromise or apology Cedarville College stands "for the Word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ," and God has abundantly blessed. Countless numbers of Christian people pray daily for its ministry, and progress is evident in every area of its operation. 'This is the Lord's doing; it is marvelous in our eyes" (Psalm 118:23) . Everywhere in the world there is unrest and revolution. Biblical teachings and Christian standards are being assailed everywhere. Therefore, our young people must become acquainted with the contemporary issues and at the same time have the changeless values of the Word of God clearly presented to them if they are to victoriously face the problems of our time. We have presented a Biblical world-view to our students in the past and are determined to emphasize it in the future. We believe the expansion goals outlined in this brochure, when attained, will help us continue to provide quality Christian educati on for our students and enable us to offer this opportunity to many more young peopl e. We encourage you to read the foll owing pages prayerfully and then mail your response to us on the se lf-addressed card and envelope in th e back of the brochure.

---- ~_.Q ____ ~-- 1 Science Center 2 Student Union 3 Dormitory The present campaign, entitled "Three to Grow on," features three buildings needed to keep pace with the growth of the college and provide a more effective program for each student. All three of these buildings, worth more than $2 million, will be a reality when $800 thousand is received in gifts for the new Science Center. The cost of the Science Center wi 11 be greatly reduced by utilizing both the shell of Willi ams Hall and th e present science building. The other two buildings will be financed through borrowed funds and th e sale of bonds.
The new Science Center will feature two large lecture halls, potentially seating 150 students each. The first floor of this building will be used for physics, and the second floor for chemistry. The old science building will be used exclusively for biological sciences.
The college architect, Russell W. Jenkins, Jr., has advantageously designed the new student union to utilize the lake setting. The structure appears to grow out of the land– scape, complementing the lake front. Access to the building is provided by a footbridge across the lake.
Two wings of a new men's dormitory will be constructed to provide space formerly available in Williams Hall. The center section of the dormitory will provide a lounge and restroom facilities. The other two wings may thus be added later at a minimum cost.
The new Science Center will have a glass enclosed corridor with a sola.rium located midway. It will provide space for a greenhouse as well as a picturesque setting for students' relaxation. ~-' -·····

The "Three to Grow On" program suggested in this brochure is a response to the Lord's leading. To shrink from the present challenge would only cast doubt upon the ability of our unlimited God to provide. This imaginative program should stir the hearts of God's people, and our confidence is in the ability of the Holy Spirit to cause hearts to be responsive. We would like to challenge churches and individuals to help us provide this enlarged ministry by giving a thousand dollars each toward the construction of the new Science Center. A plaque similar to this one ih the library will be erected in the new Science Center to show appreciation to donors. In order that you may have a permanent reminder that you have helped to make these buildings a reality, a small plaque with a four-color rendering of the new Science Center will be given to each of these donors. Many churches and individuals may feel it is impossible to make a thousand-dollar gift. You may wish to consider making a faith promise of a thousand dollars and trusting the Lord to enable you to make a third of the gift during each of the next three years. Construction should begin within three years and each year's gift would accumulate toward your thousand-dollar pledge. Pl ease : Pray and ask the Lord what part you can have in this project. Mail the enclosed faith promise card to us. Your promise is not binding, but a genuine express ion that you are trusting the Lord to enabl e you to give. It will be a real encouragement to us.
