Pharmacists are increasingly taking leadership roles within the healthcare system. This program is designed to equip those future leaders. Master of Business Administration Curriculum Summary Master of Business Administration...............................................36 Total............................................................................................. 36 Program Delivery Cedarville University has designed the combined PharmD/MBA degree program to be flexible and responsive to student needs. MBA courses are offered year-round in fully online seven-week sessions. Admission Standards Students must complete at least one semester of the graduate professional PharmD program (P1) before applying for the PharmD/MBA combined degree programs. Students must demonstrate strong academic performance in the PharmD program, obtain a letter of recommendation from their pharmacy advisor, and complete a brief essay as part of the MBA application. Students must maintain a minimum of a 3.0 GPA in both programs. Students admitted to the PharmD program through an alternate undergraduate pathway who do not hold a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution may be admitted to the PharmD/MBA program after one year of enrollment and confirmation of satisfactory progress in the PharmD program at Cedarville University. In this situation, eligibility for the MBA degree is contingent upon concurrent or prior conferral of the PharmD degree.
