L ITERARY SOCIETIES- The Philadelphian Society was organized in the fall of 1884, and the Philosophic during the fall of 1895. Both soci eties have been making successful progress. They occupy two large, well furnished halls in (lie third story of the new college building. Their annual contest takes place tit the close of the spring term.
