In December, 190 , fr. arnegie generously do– nated $12,000 to erect a library building for edarville College on condition that a like amount be added to the ollege endowment fund. This condition was fully met, and the building of brick and cut stone was completed and entered during the summer of 1908. The building is seventy-two feet in length and forty-five feet in width, and contains all the modern library equipment with a capacity for 17,000 volumes. The village and College libraries have been combined, and new volumes are being added as needed. The leading periodicals are kept on the reading tables. 'rhe physical laboratory and the rooms of the Depart– ment of Domestic Science are located in the basement of this building. 12
