NORMAL DEPARTMENT NORMAL CURRICULUM FOR ELEMENTARY TEACHERS REQUIREMENTS FOR ADMISSION The requirements for admission to the elementary t eachers' curriculum is graduation from a high school of the first grade or its equivalent. U~der exceptional cir~umstances s! udents not able to meet this requirement may be adnutted for special work. TWO YEARS' ELEMENTARY NORMAL COURSE FIRST YEAR-Same in each semester as the Greene County Normal curriculum. Practice Teaching __ ____ ____ _ l At the completion of the two years' elementary normal course the graduates secure state provisional certificates entitling them to teach in any elementary school in Ohio. After the holders of these certificates have taught twenty-four months successfully they may receive, upon application, life certificates. RATES OF TUITION The fee for in struction in the normal department is forty dollars per semester, payable on the opening day. This includes a tuition fee of twenty-five dollars, a contingent fee of ten dollars, and an athletic fee of five dollars.
