ED RVlLLE THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY local M. E. Church, was elected to the chair of Homiletics, Archaeology, and Religious Education. Rev. C. M. Ritchie, D. D., Ph. D., upon the resignation <Yf Rev. Ingmire, was chosen in the fall of 1928 to take the Chair of Homiletice and Christian Education. Thus for over a century, with brief intermissions, the Seminary has continued its work of preparing young men for the gospel ministry. The results of its labors are to be looked for, not merely in the Reformed Presbyterian Church, but in many other denomina– tions that have been enriched in spiritual leadership by those who have gone out from the church of their nativity, but have carried. with them the fruits of the scholarship and thorough theological training which has di stinguished the Seminary. It is the aim of the present control of the Seminary to maintabs all of the best traditions of the past and yet to afl'ord to the youth preparing for future usefulness in the church just the sort of pro– fessional education that will fit them for present and future needs and conditions.
