Four hours a week throughout the year. 3-4. INTERMEDIATE FREKCH- Study of texts from some of the best French novelists, short story writers, and dramatists. Grammar review and conversation. Elective. ADVANCED FRENCH- This course is Intended to develop free oral and written expression in French and to prepare the student for the higher French literary courses. Grammar and phonetics; study and analysis of plays and novels· reference work and collateral reading. This course Is given In French. Elective. Three hours a week throughout the year. 7-8. ADVANCED FRENCH-- Thls course Is for advanced students who have taken the course 5-6. The course will be arranged each year in accordance with the needs of the students.
