THE CURRICULUM 41 REQUIREMENTS FOR TEACHING FIELDS The following requirements include those of the Ohio State Depart– ment of Education and constitute minors. Students should consult their advisors concerning requirements for major fields. Biological Science Zoology 221-222; Plant Science 202 and Nature Study 104. English English 101-102, 201-202 are required. The requirement may be com– pleted by either English 210 or 220, but both courses are recommended. English majors may substitute 203 for English 201. General Science Basic courses in physics, chemistry and biology must be included. See page 43 for a general science curriculum. Health Education A twenty-five semester hour special minor.
