All students in the college are required to take six hours of English gx·ammar and composition and six hours of English literature. A major in English shall consist of at least 24 semeste1· hours of wo1"k in the Englisl1 Depa'l'tment. Twelve of these hours must b in ·out'ses of Junior or Senio1· rank. Support- 49
