The first semester deals mainly with the non-metals, the second semester with the metals. The second semester laboratory is qualitative analysis. Three lectures, one lab. Four credits per semester. Offered in alternate years. Chem. 201-202 QUANTITATIVE ANALYSIS Theory, technique and calculations involved in gravimetric and volumetric quantitative analysis. Prerequisite: Chem. 101- 102.
