, Division of Business Administration The division of Business Administration intends to pre– pare students for activity in business, church financial leader– ship, and service. The curriculum is designed to give the pros– pective business student a professional training in a Christian atmosphere. Requirements for a Maior in Business Administration Business Administration (42 semester hours) including Business Administration '181, 182, 183-184, 281-282, 381, 382, 383, 384, 481, 482, 483-484. Requirements for a Minor in Business Administration: Business Administration (15 semester hours) including Business Administration 181. Requirements for a Maior in Business Education: Business Administration (56 semester hours) including Business Administration 181, 182, 183-184, 191-192, 193-'194, 281-282, 291, 293-294, 381, 382, 483. Each student must choose a minor from one more teaching field (15 semester hours), preferable sociology. Requirements for Secretarial Science Students: A Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science program could be followed which includes Business Administration 181, 182, 183-184, 191-192, 193-'194, 281-282, 291, 293-294, 382, 391 . 181 INTRODUCTION TO BUSINESS* An orientation in business administration. Provides guid– ance in field of specialization. Familiarizes student with busi– ness terms. Three credit hours 182 BUSINESS MATHEMATICS* A practical study of short-cuts in every-day mathematical calculations. The skill of analyzing a problem and arriving at a solution is developed. Three credit hours 183-184 PRINCIPLES OF ACCOUNTING* An. introduction to accounting. Statements, accounts, jour– nals, adjusting and closing entries, the worksheet, the vouche1· syst m, pay 1'011 accounting, accounting for proprietorship, partnership, and co1·poration are treated.
