Division of Science The division of Science is comprised of A) Biology, B) Chemistry, C) Physics, and D) Mathematics. This division aims to acquaint the student with the field and to give him tools of science and mathematics that help to make him proficient in clear and orderly thinking, as well as to cause him to appreciate the facts of the physical and natural sciences. Without these facts it is impossible for a person to enjoy a complete Christian view of the world in which we live. Requirements for a Minor in Biology: Science (18 semester hours) all from Biology. Requirements for a Minor in General Science: Science (18 semester hours) taken in two of the departments of Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics. Requirements for a Minor in Chemistry: Science (18 semester hours) all from Chemistry. Requirements for a Minor in Mathematics: Science (16 semester hours) all from Mathematics. Requirements for a Major in Biology: Science (46 semester hours) including 36 hours of Bi– ology; and Chemistry 131-132. Requirements for a Major in General Science: Science (50 semester hours). Requirements for a Major in Physical Science: Science (50 semester hours) including Chemistry, Mathe– matics and Physics.
