Four credit hours 314 COMPARATIVE EMBRYOLOGY Of THE VERTEBRATES** ('62-'63) Prerequisite: Biology 214 A comparative study of descriptive embryology of verte– brate classes including the modern theories of development. Laboratory work emphasizes developmental stages of frog, chick and pig. Two lectures, two labs per week. Four credit hours 315 ENTOMOLOGY** ('63·'64) Prerequisite: Biology 214 An examination of the characteristics of orders and some families of class insecta. Behavior patterns, identification, eco– nomic and hygienic importance of insects are studied. Students make their own collections of specimens. Three lectures, lab. by arrangement.
