A cooperative program has been established with Central State College, located four miles from Cedarville. Over fifty Cedarville Col– lege students were taking course work at Central State during the 1962-63 college year. A concentrated four-year program will make it possible for a stu– dent to receive the Bachelor of Arts degree from Cedarville College and the Bachelor of Science in Education degree from Central State College. Central State also grants the appropriate elementary or secondary teaching certificate. If a student does not wish to carry the slightly heavier load during the four-year program, he may take some of the work during summers. Thus, even though teacher training courses are not presently available at the Cedarville campus, the stu– dent may complete a teacher training program while living in Cedar– ville and participating in the spiritual and social activities of the Col– lege. Many students have successfully completed the program and have not found the simultaneous attendance at two schools difficult. 30
