Cedarville 373 MUSIC IN THE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL Prerequisite: Music Education 272 Philosophy, methods, and materials. 375 CONDUCTING FINE ARTS Two credit hours Prerequisite: Music Theory 111-112 and permission of the Music Department A study of the role of a conductor, and the refinement of conducting tech– nique through actual experience with vocal and instrumental groups. O?UJ oredit hour APPLIED MUSIC Credit in applied music study is based on three to five hours of practice and one lesson per week for one hour of credit. All music majors must give an applied music recital during the senior year. Eligibility for Applied Music Lessons 1. Original registration is by satisfactorily an au- dition. 2. Continued registration is based upon satisfactory progress, each semester by the music faculty at the time of music semester examinations. 3. Students on academic probation may be denied applied music lessons. 4. A freshman must be enrolled in some additional music course or performing music group to be for lessons. 5. A student must be at least ten credit hours in to music lessons or pay a registration per semester hour lessons.
