CATALOG CORRECTION April 1966 Recent events have made portions of this catalog obsolete. Since the catalog was already in the process of being printed, corrections could not be made. Action by the Ohio State Board of Education on March 14, 1966, continued the approval of the present elementary education program at Cedarville College, but denied approval for the continuance of the program leading to secondary teacher certification. Thus, all references to secondary education are no longer appropri– ate. Although there are very hopeful signs that the secondary program will be reestablished perhaps by Fall, 1967, it is impossible to make some definite statement about reapproval. College trustees, adm~istrators, and faculty are committed to efforts leading to approval as soon as possible. tives. Enrolling for one or two years, taking advantage of the thoroughly Christian orientation of the College and then transferring for secondary certification. Students so transferring h'l"e h<>Pn at no disadvantage except possibly the loss of credits of one or two Bible courses. 3. Enrolling at Cedarville and participating in the Central State University-Cedarville College Co-operative program. Students may live on our campus, take most of their courses here except during their senior year, and graduate with two degrees and certification. This program has operated successfully for several years. 4. Consider the liberal arts program which includes over fifteen different major fields. This program can lead to employment in business or admission to graduate schools. 5. Consider changing to elementary education.
