GRADE POINTS AND POINT AVERAGES Cedarville College uses the "four point system" to determine academic averages. Grade points are awarded as follows: Each quarter hour of A-4 grade points Each quarter hour of B-3 grade points Each quarter hour of C-2 grade points Each quarter hour of D-1 grade point Each quarter hour of F-0 grade points The grade point average is computed by dividing the total grade points earned by the total hours attempted.
