Basically the adjustment involves a reduction in the number of education courses and a careful scheduling of additional content courses. The education department should be consulted in this regard. SECONDARY EDUCATION PROGRAM Secondary level certification includes grades 7-12. In general, all students are encouraged to qualify in a minimum of one comprehensive teaching field or two non-comprehensive teaching fields. One of these fields must also qualify as a major.
