Education and Psychology 83 360 Psychology of Exceptional Children 4 hours A survey of the needs and problems of both the gifted and the slow learner with special emphasis placed upon teaching these children. Prerequisite: PYl 60 361 History and Systems of Psychology 4 hours Major trends in the development of psychology from its beginning to the present. Emphasis is placed upon contemporary theory. Prerequisite: PYl 60 362 Psychological Statistics II 5 hours Statistical methods and interpretations encountered in experimental studies and presentations of behavioral data. Analysis of variance and covariance techniques are emphasized. Prerequisite: PY261 363 Psychological Measurement 5 hours An analysis of theoretical principles and assumptions basic to the measurement of human characteristics and behavior. Offers training in the construction, selection and use of psycholog– ical tests. Prerequisite: PY261
