Business Administration 4 5 Business Administration Associate Professor: William R. Riter, Chairman Assistant Professor: Richard E. Baldwin, James E. Seaman Part-Time Teachers: David A. Haffey, Kenneth H. St. Clair The Department of Business Administration is comprised of A) Accounting, B) General Business, C) Economics, D) Management, E) Marketing. This department intends to prepare students for careers in business, graduate study in business and economics, and church financial leadership. Certification for teaching Business subjects in the secondary schools is available in bookkeeping-basic business and in sales-communication. Certification by the state of Ohio also is available in Business Education (Comprehensive), Data Proc– essing, Shorthand, and Typing if the student takes appropriate courses in recognized schools and meets the other requirements at Cedarville College. If the student is planning to add these fields to his regular certification, further in– formation should be secured from the chairman of the Department of Business Administration. Economics Requirements include Economics 331 and 335, and four quarter hours from Economics 131, 334 and/or Independent Study in Economics. Management Requirements include Management 252, and eight quarter hours from Manage– ment 351, 352, 353, Marketing 361, 362 and/or Independent Study in Management.
